Robert received his first camera for his 9th birthday. Since then, he has
combined his love of the outdoors and his passion for photography in his
 captivating, expressive still life photographs.

In 1996 Robert chose to settle in Squamish amidst the wonders of the
Sea-to-Sky corridor. He spends a great deal of time exploring the
back-country of B.C., experiencing wilderness, logging areas and human
settlement. His many trips into the more remote areas of the province
include the forests of the Queen Charlotte Islands, and the rivers of the
 Dihtadhat native reserve.

2005 - Robert and his family have now moved to Vancouver Island.

Robert's skillful use of his camera has lead to the development of his
unique style of expression. He loves working in black and white film,
developing the images on archival fiber based paper, fixed twice and
selenium toned. In the instances that he works in colour, images are
printed on  Ilfochrome for the richest in rendition and permanence.

Fourteen years of experience in black and white printing, combined with
his own studio for seven years, recently renamed: IMAGESBYFISH, in
downtown Vancouver, BC., helped his sucess as a commercial photographer.

His clients include BDO Dunwoody, Metropol, KPMG, CA Association,
 and Gee and Gee Jewelers.

Robert also has experience with excecutive portraiture, product
 photography, catalogues and advertisements.

Commission portraits and images for private clientele have been
produced by request, and a number of prints in his Fine Art range
have been sold to various private collections.
